How to Add a Contribution?

To add a contribution, follow the below steps.
1. On the Contribution List page, click New M360 - Contribution.
 
The M360 - Contribution form is displayed.
 
2. Enter or select the required values in the fields. For more details, please refer to the following sections.
 
3. Once all the fields are filled out, click Save.
 
The contribution is added to the list.
 
Note:  You can update or view the contribution details by clicking Edit/ View in the desired row.
 
 
Primary Information  
The Primary Information section within the Contribution form allows you to configure the essential data to set up the contribution.

Opportunity
The Opportunity section with the Contributions form allows you to configure the opportunities for this contribution.

Percentage chance that the opportunity will be successfully closed

Preliminary quote outlining the potential contribution to the associated opportunity
OPPORTUNITY
Associated opportunity for this contribution
ESTIMATE
Preliminary quote outlining the potential contribution for the associated opportunity
 
 
Contribution
The Contribution section within the Contributions form allows you to set up the necessary details for this contribution.

Payment
The Payment section in the Contributions form allows you to configure the payment method for the contribution.

Matching
The Matching section within the Contributions form allows you to set up details for tracking and managing matching gifts from employers or organizations.

Date of commencing the matching gift program for this contribution

Date of the last day of the match gift program for this contribution
NEW MATCHING ORGANIZATION NAME
Name of a new organization eligible to participate in matching gift programs for this contribution
 
 
Tribute
The Tribute section within the Contributions form allows you to set up details for acknowledging or dedicating the contribution to honor an individual or entity.

Soft Credit
The Soft Credit section in the Contributions form allows you to recognize and track individuals or entities that influenced but did not directly contribute.

1. Select the title of the donor's commitment to make a future contribution from the PLANNED GIVING dropdown list.
Note: The PLANNED GIVING TYPE field is auto-populated upon selecting the PLANNED GIVING.
 
 
Pledge
The Pledge section within the Contributions form allows you to outline the pledging process, including the pledging plan and schedule.

The Receipt & Acknowledgement section within the Contributions form allows you to configure the required details for providing donors with receipts and acknowledgments.
