How to Add an Event?

 
To add an event to the Event List, follow the steps below.
 
1.  On the M360 - Event List page, click New M360 - Event.
 
 
NoteYou can alternatively create a new Event by navigating to Events> Manage Events > Events and clicking New.
 
The M360 - Event page is displayed.
 
 
2.  Enter/select the values in the required fields.

3. Click Save.
 
The new event is successfully created and added to the Event List.
 
 
You can update or view in detail the event added to the list by clicking on Edit/ View in the desired Event row.
 
 
Primary Information
The Primary Information section within the Event form allows you to set the values in the associated fields that are essential.

DEFAULT TICKET
Default entry pass for the associated event
START DATE
Date of commencing the event
END DATE
Date of the last day of the event
REGISTRATION CUTOFF DATE
Last date for the event to register for the event, post which registration is not possible
EARLY BIRD CUTOFF DATE
Last date to avail early bird rate for the event, post which normal rates are applicable
PAYMENT DUE DAYS PRIOR TO EVENT
Number of days due for the payment on an event invoice generated before the start of the event
SEAT MANAGEMENT MODE
Method used for seat management
 
The available options are: 
  • Waitlist Enabled - The participants can reserve a seat even after the maximum number of seats are filled, placing them on the waiting list.  The priority in such cases is given to the participant on top of the list when a seat is available due to cancellation or changes.
  • Waitlist Disabled - The audience cannot register once the maximum number of seats is filled.
  • Allowed Overlook - The maximum seating capacity is overlooked and participants can continue reserving their seats upon reaching the maximum seating capacity.

EVENT SESSION SEAT MANAGEMENT MODE
Method used for allocating seats during a session in the event
 
The available options are

This helps to simplify the process of managing attendee payments.
 
Click Add after entering the required fields in the Resource section to save the data.  You can add more attendees to the Event if required.
 
 
Chapters
The Chapters section allows you to add the associated Chapters for the event.
 
 
 
Budget
The Budget section allows you to set the budget for the event and define the event unit, unit quantity, and unit cost.

The Professional Credit section in the Event form lets you see and adjust the numerical value given to a session to measure a participant's successful completion of the course. This helps track the participant's progress through the accumulation of credit points.
